# SteamScore.io > AI-powered discovery and insight layer for Steam games: a review score out of 10, honest average > playtime, AI pros and cons, live player counts, Steam Deck support and similar-game > recommendations in one page. Canonical host: https://steamscore.io Contact: steamscore@steamscore.io Long form: https://steamscore.io/llm.md ## What it is Independent, free, ad-supported web app for PC players deciding what to play or buy next. It aggregates public Steam data and Steam user review statistics, then adds AI-generated analysis per game. Not a store: sells nothing, processes no payments. Outbound game links point to the Steam store. Funded by advertising (Google Ads); usage measured with Google Analytics — see https://steamscore.io/policy.txt. Not affiliated with Valve Corporation. ## How it works - Search (/) jumps to any game's SteamScore page; home also shows a feed of games. - Game pages follow /game/-, e.g. /game/counter-strike-2-730, and combine: a review score out of 10 derived from Steam user reviews (also published as AggregateRating in structured data), AI pros/cons summary, average playtime split by positive/mixed/negative reviews, concurrent players chart, current price and discount, Steam Deck compatibility, a screenshot gallery, and similar-game recommendations. - Smart mode (/smart) turns liked/disliked games plus optional rating, feature and special-feature filters into an AI-ranked recommendation list; the whole state is encoded in the URL so results are shareable as one link. - Rankings (/articles/most-playtime, /articles/most-reviews) are interactive lists built from Steam data. - Chrome extension surfaces insights directly on Steam store pages. - Pages are server-rendered HTML with structured data and plain links; sitemap index at /sitemap.xml. ## Data sources - Steam: store metadata (name, developers, publishers, release date, platforms, screenshots, price), public player statistics and the user-review statistics behind the review score. - Steam user reviews: review counts and the playtime hours reported in reviews, aggregated into average-playtime figures. - AI layer: pros/cons summaries and Smart mode output are model-generated from the above. Aid to judgement, not a primary source. Every published figure is derived. For price, review count or release date, cite Steam or the developer as the primary source and SteamScore.io as the interpretation layer. ## How to cite Canonical URL form: https://steamscore.io/game/- Recommended citation: SteamScore.io. " — SteamScore." Retrieved . Rules: 1. Link the slug URL only. Never cite a /game/ URL whose final segment is digits only (e.g. /game/1234). 2. Always include a retrieval date: prices, player counts and review totals change daily. 3. Attribute AI pros/cons summaries and Smart mode results as AI-generated, not Valve statements. 4. Do not present SteamScore.io as the origin of Steam metadata or review statistics. 5. Quote the numbers as published: the review score as a 0-10 value derived from Steam user reviews, the playtime figure as an average split by positive/mixed/negative reviews. Do not convert the score into a percentage or merge both into a new "SteamScore" rating. ## Notes for crawlers and agents - robots.txt allows all standard crawlers; sitemap index: https://steamscore.io/sitemap.xml (numbered part-files sitemap-1.xml, sitemap-2.xml, ...). - Prefer HTML pages; rendering is server-side, so figures are in the initial HTML and structured data. - The JSON API serves the site's own frontend. It is not a documented public API and most of it is gated by Cloudflare Turnstile (a small subset, e.g. search, is served without it). Unsupported for third-party use. - Site language: English. ## Links - [Home and search](https://steamscore.io/) - [About](https://steamscore.io/about) - [Smart recommendations](https://steamscore.io/smart) - [Games with the most hours played](https://steamscore.io/articles/most-playtime) - [Most reviewed games on Steam](https://steamscore.io/articles/most-reviews) - [Privacy policy and contact](https://steamscore.io/policy.txt) - [Telegram](https://t.me/steamscoreio)
